LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Departments of Community and Global Health and Population Health in the College of Health invite applications for a tenured faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level with a specialization in vaccine policy, decision-making in clinical and public health settings, vaccine delivery and related services, immunization program delivery, understanding behavior change and the acceptability of interventions by specific communities, sustainable immunization financing, or closely related disciplines, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. Departmental affiliation will be determined in advance of an offer. An administrative role may be available for qualified candidates.
This position reflects the College of Health’s priority on building an Infectious Disease Research Cluster. As such, candidates should expect to contribute to team-based scholarly works and collaborative, center-level grant proposals as part of this cluster.
The individual hired will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in community and global health and population health such as determinants of health, epidemiology, health promotion and health equity, health policy and politics, as well as courses in their area of expertise. In addition to teaching, the individual hired will be expected to mentor postdoctoral research associates and students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in departmental, college, and university service.
The Departments of Community and Global Health and Population Health in the College of Health both have interdisciplinary faculty, innovative curricula, robust experiential learning opportunities for students, and integrated career and professional development. As our faculty grows, the COH will add a suite of graduate degrees in Biostatistics and Health Data Science (certificate, MS, PhD).

Qualifications
Candidates must have earned a doctorate in health policy, health economics, public health, bioethics, epidemiology, or a closely related field by date of employment. Candidates must have a strong track record of scholarly publications in immunization and vaccine delivery or related services, implementation research, or policy advocacy in domestic or international contexts. The candidate must have a strong track record of external funding individually and as part of a team.
