LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Goodman Center for Real Estate and Perella Department of Finance invite applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in Real Estate. The appointment may be made as Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor, Professor of Practice, or Senior Professor of Practice, depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. We seek candidates with expertise in real estate, real estate finance, or closely related areas and welcome applicants from both academic and professional backgrounds. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2027. This is a renewable, fixed-term appointment with an initial term of three years.
The individual hired will normally teach four courses per semester, primarily at the undergraduate level, and will contribute to Center, Department, College, and University service. There may also be opportunities to teach at the graduate level in the future. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in real estate and real estate finance, with opportunities to teach additional finance courses depending on departmental needs. The individual will also be expected to contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, experiential learning activities, and engagement with the Center’s professional and alumni community.

Qualifications
Applicants must have an earned graduate degree at the master’s level or higher in business, finance, real estate, or a closely related field from an accredited institution or international equivalent by the date of employment. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide excellent instruction in real estate and/or real estate finance. Candidates considered for appointment as Professor of Practice or Senior Professor of Practice must have substantial professional experience in the real estate industry. Rank and title will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience, and record of accomplishment.
