The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Lehigh University invites applications from innovative educators for a Teaching Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position (non-tenure track) who will support, enhance, and advance our educational mission. A start date on or after July 1, 2025 is anticipated. This position is a renewable, fixed-term, non-tenure-track, full-time position. The initial term of appointment will be from three to five years. Presence on campus is required.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership in the development and delivery of chemical engineering education; educational innovation; advanced engineering pedagogy and instructional technologies; and experiential, student-driven, course structures. This position will support the department’s mission to deliver a vibrant and leading-edge educational experience that meets Lehigh’s long-held standards for, and emphasis upon, educational excellence. Appointment level will be commensurate with level of experience and demonstrated track record. Applicants with other compelling and relevant experience will also be considered. Although the teaching track position is non-tenured, it is career-focused, offers promotion through the teaching track ranks, and affords broad voting privileges and eligibility to serve on Department, College, and University committees, ensuring lasting institutional educational impact.
