LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Department of Sociology & Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Sociology, effective Fall 2020. The successful candidate will have a primary area of research in social stratification utilizing quantitative methods. The position will be in the Department of Sociology & Anthropology. The candidate will be expected to teach introductory sociology courses and quantitative methods courses, as well as courses in their area of interest.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Sociology completed by the starting date of August 2020. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a vigorous research program and contribute to the department’s academic programs (https://socanthro.cas2.lehigh.edu/). To be considered, candidates must have at least one scholarly work accepted for publication or have secured extra-institutional research funding and must provide evidence of effective teaching as an instructor of record or teaching assistant.
